Kettlebell Exercises Beat Treadmills Any Day

By Brent Neenan

If you're ever up during those wee hours in the middle of the night when you just can't get to sleep or even must be awake in those foggy morning hours then it is likely you've seen plenty of infomercials in your time. A good number that air, pertain to fitness and illustrate workouts that provides great results in less and less time with less and less effort. In reality though, most of these known workouts are actually scams. Kettlebells and kettlebell exercises though are true to the claims and provide effective workouts in short amounts of time.

First, let's compare kettlebells to a more obvious offender: the 15-minute workout. This seems too good to be true, and it is. In 15 minutes, you can't possibly get the workout you need for a lean, toned, sculpted body. You don't even have enough time to warm up and cool down properly. Any workout that promises results in this short amount of time is almost without doubt a scam. If you're looking for a quick, efficient workout, then kettlebells and kettlebell exercises are the way to go. Because they engage your entire body and many muscle groups at the same time, they require less workout time than a traditional (but effective) exercise like the treadmill. It may be more than 15 minutes, but in a shorter amount of time you'll be finished working out and will be on to the rest of your day.

Have you ever seem advertisements for those electronic abdomen exercises? The concept behind those is that weight loss and tone can be attained by the way of electrical impulse that delivers a weak shock to the area of concern and causes the muscles to tighten. Even though these gadgets are used widely in the medical field there is no proven effect on weight loss. If you want to lose weight you clearly need to exert energy, raising your heart rate. To let a machine do the work for you doesn't actually help your body. Kettllebells by Lorna on the flipside do require both effort and concentration and the results are actually positive.

Supplements that state to be "a workout in a bottle" are similar to the electronic ab exercises in that with little effort, they can aid in weight loss and a buffbody. While vitamins and supplements can aid in a healthier lifestyle, they certainly will not replace a workout. The old saying "no pain, no gain" really lends itself to the whole workout idea. While a few things may aid in a better workout, putting the time and effort to get toned is really the only way to see results. With kettlebell exercises, you can feel the way the weights are working and toning your body, and you can feel good knowing you are challenging yourself.

Kettlebells and kettlebell exercise are an awesome way to get your workout done and get your body into shape. Unlike so many of the scams out there they really do what there are intended to do. The next time you hear the phrase "too good to be true" remember it most likely is unless it's a kettlebell workout.
